Weekly Drop-in Session
Hello my name is Kate
I am a Midwife and a mother and have lived in Yorkshire for nearly 20 years. I am keen to support the amazing work of the Community Midwifery service and the 0-19 service.
Skelmanthorpe Community Centre have kindly offered me a space to allow people to come together to ask questions, get support from others to make parenting a little less scary and lonely.
Maybe I was born in a different era or its because I come from a big family but I know how important it is to have a good support network available.
I want to help create links and keep free and paid for services active by supporting each other, theres enough space for everyone.
Please come along to this drop in session where I will be there to try and answer your pregnancy questions or signpost you to the right place. To give postnatal support and also to lend an ear if you just need to have a good rant. There’s always someone who has had a similar experience. You are not alone.
Donations welcome to provide tea, coffee, juice and cake.
